"Proverbs 31"
I last visited them together when they were at the doctor’s office for more blood work. She didn’t look good which was strange. She always looked good. But the disease was taking its toll and her body, always so graceful and strong, was losing the fight. It wouldn’t be long before she went to be with her Lord.

Carolyn Long
Carolyn Long was fantastic! Her address lasted just ten minutes but in that short time she, more than any speaker we’ve had this year, hit on what I believe are the seminal problems we face as broadcasters and celebrities. Click here to listen to Carolyn Long's address to the LRMF.
Remebering Anne Pressly
On behalf of the Little Rock Media Fellowship I would like to pass along our condolences to the family and friends of Anne Pressly. I loved Anne and was so very proud to call her my friend. She loved the Lord and was at nearly every LRMF luncheon. I am so deeply saddened by her passing as I’m sure you are as well. Read More...

Carolyn Long at the LRMF
It took a while but I was finally able to
convince Carolyn Long to speak to the
Little Rock Media Fellowship. Carolyn is
kind of a big deal. She anchored at both
the NBC and ABC affiliates for nearly
two decades before relocating with her
family to Northwest Arkansas. The November
20th luncheon will once again be held at Valentine’s restaurant
beginning at 11:45 and is free to all members of the Little
Rock TV & Radio on-air media. Your donations help make possible
this evangelical outreach to media. Thank you!
2008 Colorado Elk Hunt
As you can see by the enormous rub on this
tree there was unmistakable evidence that elk once existed in our area of Colorado
but we didn’t see a single one. In fact between the three camps that were
set up around our 2008 CrossHeirs elk camp we only SAW
two bulls the entire week. We saw a moose, though. This
guy on the right actually thought
he was a cow. Seriously.
We didn’t have a lick of snow.
Daytime temps were in the upper
60s and there wasn’t a trace of
the white stuff ...until we left.
Then we ran into three blizzards.
And guess what? Yeah, we saw elk. But this year may have been our best
retreat.
We had an excellent study of Jesus’ pep talk in Matthew 10. In the
words of one of our hunters, “The food was good, the fellowship outstanding,
and the Bible Study great. There are times in our lives when we need some
extra encouragement, and this happened to be at a time when I needed it.” If
you’re interested in going next year we’re already accepting reservations.
